I just thought about the things that I am most thankful for in 2022.
Honestly?
It’s the challenges, that I am most thankful for, because they led me to so many new qualities, so many insights, so many new strengths and so much more trust into life.
It’s been the sickness of our Mum, it’s been my decision to not finish my Masters, it’s been my two self-employments and businesses, it’s been the break-up with my former partner, it’s been the fear of moving back home and doing exactly that, it’s been an absolute financial low-point, it’s been going to Portugal without a ticket to return, which let my inner light shine even brighter.
It’s been exactly those moments, that reassure me that I am deeply, profoundly and honestly following my heart.
Now more than ever.
I am ready to surrender. Surrender even more. To this life and to the challenges it offers me.

If someone had told me before that I’d spend this year’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve with @christinabaldelomar in Portugal, I would have never believed it.
Yet here I am and it couldn’t be more aligned.
I know that this new year, twenty twenty three holds even more possibilities for me to grow and to hold space for myself and others.
I realize that I start this year the same way I started the last one: with not knowing and trusting.
I’m more ready than ever to embark on this crazy, beautiful journey of life. To embrace it all. The light and the dark. The happiness and the hurtful.
Yes, I dare say that I live life to the fullest indeed. I know the deepest depths and the highest heights and I am really proud of myself for navigating through those waves like a freaking huge & chilled cargo ship 😂
So yes, yes: the things I am most grateful for this last year, are the challenges it brought along, the beautiful people I got to spend time with and those simple and precious moments of endlessness, like sitting in the sunlight or taking a swim in a mermaid pool.
